Our Average Funeral Pricing by State is based on the prices found in our system.
Each funeral home has a specific price point for different services. For each state, we added up the total dollar value for each service and then divided by the number of funeral providers in said state. We then combined these average service prices together as they normally would be on any single funeral provider page.
Example of Pricing Point Equation:
(Total Dollar Value of all Hearse Rentals in Florida) / (Number of Funeral Providers offering hearse rentals in Florida) = Average Price of a Hearse Rental in Florida*
*Fractions of cents were rounded to the nearest whole cent.
